Job Summary:

The nonprofit team member will play a critical role in supporting the mission and objectives of Game Changers New York. They will collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals to drive the organization’s initiatives, programs, and projects. This role encompasses a variety of tasks, from administrative and logistical support to direct involvement in fundraising, community outreach, and program execution.

Responsibilities may include the following:

Fundraising Assistance:

• Assist in planning and organizing fundraising events, campaigns, and initiatives.
• Maintain donor databases, record contributions, and generate acknowledgments.
• Contribute to grant research, writing, and reporting.

Community Engagement:

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with volunteers, supporters, and community partners.
• Represent the organization at community events and meetings.
• Collaborate with volunteers for effective program implementation.

Program Support:

• Collaborate with program managers to ensure smooth program implementation.
• Assist in tracking program outcomes and collecting data for impact assessment.

Advocacy and Awareness:

• Assist in advocacy efforts by researching relevant issues and drafting materials for campaigns.
• Contribute to social media content, newsletters, and other communication efforts to raise awareness.

Qualifications:

• Passion for and commitment to the mission of the organization.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
• Experience in nonprofit work or related fields is a plus.
