Job Title:
Teen Board Manager
Information:
- Location: Virtual
- 4-6 hours per week
Job Description:
- Manage Teen Board and assure that all members are fulfilling their jobs to the fullest extent
- Identify and engage new partner organizations
- Coordinate sports equipment donations with partner organizations
- Manage volunteers
- Community engagement
- Create and execute fundraisers (1 per quarter)
Students can expect to either gain or further their understanding and education of the following:
- Creating and further developing partnerships with other organizations and agencies within the community with whom we have relationships
- Understand and improve upon the basic knowledge of administrative responsibilities within the non-profit
- Develop hands on experience collaborating with volunteers, Teen Board, donors, and recipient organizations
Job Requirements:
- Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Must be enrolled in current college or university (or a graduate) and/or pursuing advanced degree in nonprofit management
- Genuine interest in working with the community
- Interest or knowledge of sports/sports equipment
- Must have access to a car and license
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Are enthusiastic and eager to learn about the world of nonprofits as well as children in need globally
- Are involved in extracurricular and community-related activities
- Organized self-starter
- Deadline-oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Strong time-management skills
- Experience Excel or Sheets
