Job Title: 

Teen Board Manager

Information:

  • Location: Virtual
  • 4-6 hours per week

Job Description:

  • Manage Teen Board and assure that all members are fulfilling their jobs to the fullest extent
  • Identify and engage new partner organizations
  • Coordinate sports equipment donations with partner organizations
  • Manage volunteers
  • Community engagement
  • Create and execute fundraisers (1 per quarter)

Students can expect to either gain or further their understanding and education of the following:

  • Creating and further developing partnerships with other organizations and agencies within the community with whom we have relationships
  • Understand and improve upon the basic knowledge of administrative responsibilities within the non-profit 
  • Develop hands on experience collaborating with volunteers, Teen Board, donors, and recipient organizations

Job Requirements: 

  • Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Must be enrolled in current college or university (or a graduate) and/or pursuing advanced degree in nonprofit management 
  • Genuine interest in working with the community 
  • Interest or knowledge of sports/sports equipment
  • Must have access to a car and license
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Are enthusiastic and eager to learn about the world of nonprofits as well as children in need globally
  • Are involved in extracurricular and community-related activities
  • Organized self-starter
  • Deadline-oriented
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong time-management skills
  • Experience Excel or Sheets
